    Thermal Insulation

Suntex provides all the materials necessary for thermal insulation covers, which have been widely used in the oil, natural gas, maritime, power, aerospace, and other industrial sectors.

The outer layer protects the insulating material from environmental factors such as moisture, chemicals, and physical damage.

This layer is often made from durable materials like silicone, PU, PTFE, and aluminum fabrics.

Silicone coated fiberglass fabric is ideal for thermal insulation covers due to its high temperature resistance, durability, moisture and chemical resistance, low thermal conductivity, and UV protection.

PU coated fiberglass fabric generally offers a better cost-performance ratio. PU fabric is more economical while providing good water resistance, flexibility, and abrasion resistance, making it suitable for various applications. While silicone excels in high-temperature and durability aspects, PU fabric presents a more competitive solution for many standard uses.

Insulating layer is the primary component that provides thermal resistance. Common materials used for insulation include fiberglass, mineral wool, foam, or other advanced insulating materials that minimize heat transfer.

Thermal insulation covers are usually equipped with various fastening mechanisms (such as straps, Velcro, or buckles) to ensure a secure fit around the object being insulated.
